New HRMAB executive installed

BUILDING A RESILIENT, inclusive and forward-thinking human resource (HR) community is at the forefront of the new leadership of the Human Resource Management Association of Barbados (HRMAB) agenda.

HRMAB’s new executive was elected recently when the organisation held its annual general meeting. It is led by president Tisha Peters, who has more than a decade of experience in HR, coaching, and organisational development.

The new executive say it will be “building on the solid foundation laid by immediate past president Nicholas Roberts, who during his presidency, focused on HRMAB’s transformative three-pillar model focused on advocacy, visibility through media, and membership engagement.

A fourth pillar, sustainability, has been added and will focus on “ensuring the long-term health of the Association through transparent governance, clear succession planning, and stronger committee accountability”.

In addition to Peters and Roberts, the other members of the 2025-2026 HRMAB executive are Lisa Earle (vice president), Kerriann Holder-Lewis (Treasurer), Debra Whittington (Secretary), and committee chairs Dawn Lovell (training and development), Suzette Hinkson (membership), Rasheeda Parris-Bowen (public relations), Nancy Solomon (labour).
