SOEs IN DEBT

As of June 30, seven state-owned enterprises were responsible for about 90 per cent of the total debt:

• Barbados Port Inc – $212.2 million.

• Grantley Adams International Airport – $131.6 million.

• Barbados Tourism Investment Inc – $84 million (currently serviced by the Government).

• Barbados Water Authority – $70.3 million.

• HOPE Inc – $54 million.

• Barbados National Oil Company Ltd (now Barbados National Energy Company Ltd) – $50.9 million.

• National Petroleum Corporation – $47.4 million.
